A boycott is an individual action, but it becomes more powerful when the action is promoted and supported by a large group of people and organizations. Such an action works in two directions: first, the boycott and the story about it create more awareness among other consumers about Israeli policy. Secondly, a boycott exerts economic and moral pressure on Israel.
